I’m using retinol, can I still get waxed?
Any retinol use is contraindicated to be combined with waxing. Even if you are only using retinol on part of your face or body, it works systemically and effects all of the skin of your body. Please pause your usage at least 7 days before your waxing appointment.
What other medications, topical products, or treatments should not be combined with waxing?
Do not get waxed if:
You’re currently take Accutane or have stopped taking it for less than a year.
You’re taking any prescription acne medication.
You have Lupus or Aids.
You’re in cancer therapy getting chemotherapy or radiation.
You have been in direct sunlight for a long period of time.

I’m on my period, can I still get waxed?
Yes, absolutely! It’s fully up to you on your level of comfort but as long as you are wearing a tampon, menstrual cup or disc, it makes no difference for the service! Sometimes being on your period can make you more pain sensitive and you may want to take an ibuprofen 30 minutes before your appointment if you’re worried about that.
How long does my hair have to be for body waxing?
If you are landing on one end of the spectrum, longer is better! You should have at least 3 weeks of hair growth or hair that is long enough to grab with your fingertips. There’s no such thing as too long to wax but there is an issue if its too short!
I’m a minor (under 18), can I still get waxed?
Yes, as long as your parent or guardian comes with you to your first appointment and gives their consent by signing your intake form.
What kind of wax do you use?
Cirépil hard wax, Lycon hard wax and Macine soft wax.
